80 Million Euros to Support Portugal Upgrading the Power Grid

European Investment Bank recently provided 8000 euros of loans for the Portuguese national grid to support its national transmission system update and upgrade.
According to reports, the five-year loans was mainly for upgrading the Portuguese national grid system and promoting more renewable energy and power generation.
The European Investment Bank said the 200 million loans was the first bank loans approval to promote local renewable energy development plan. The European Investment Bank was committed to building a single energy market, enhancing regional energy security and grid systems and promoting the EU energy mix to 100% renewable energy transformation.
